Take a few minutes and sit down and write two lists. Make one list of financially how much OCD has cost you. The second one is for everything else that OCD has cost you. This can be very inspirational and motivating. I recommend keeping the list and looking at it periodically when your struggling. Remember this is not to bring you down and to feel sorry for yourself. This is to look at and say I’m done letting OCD run my life it has cost me enough already. This can be used for any behavior that you want to work on.
